  • What we do

PRO Services works to identify causes of negative stress in the workplace in order to get to the root of the problem and eliminate it.

We help your company tackle work-related stress and reduce stress levels amongst your employees by optimising and restructuring work processes and resources. By working with PRO Services you will provide your employees with software tools and/or new work processes that will speed up existing tasks. Time will therecy be freed up for the more demanding duties your employee has, and hence reduce stress levels.

PRO Services focuses on so-called “primary interventions” for stress reduction and stress prevention, i.e. we do not offer treatment for stress-related symptoms or teach your employees how to cope with stress. The interventions we design will be aimed at the causes of stress and designed to remove as many stress-generating issues from the workplace as possible.

PRO Services focuses on identifying and limiting the role of work related stressors identified by research. After working with us you will have tools and/or recommendations identifying and addressing work related stress stemming from various sources. Areas of concern in the evaluation of the sources of stress in your company can be:

    How we do it

As all companies are different, the needs of your company will be unique. Hence we approach all companies slightly differently, however, we prefere to follow these main steps.

Process: Involving staff, Evaluation, Decisions, Countermeasures, Implementation and Follow-up.

    Involving Staff

In order for the process to be successful it is crucial that your staff is included and involved from the start.

    Evaluation

The evaluation process of your company will be adjusted to its size and needs in relation to workplace stress.

If you are a self-employed individual with no employees, one meeting might be enough to get a clear picture of the needs.

If you run a medium-sized company more in-depth analysis and evaluation will need to take place. What form this evaluation will take will be discussed and decided on together. It can include interviews with your employees, surveys to measure stress levels and find out possible stressors, and us working in your company for a period of time.

    Decision

We discuss our recommendations for countermeasures together; what they entail and what effects are expected from each countermeasure.

Ideally the decision on what countermeasures to be implemented are made by you and concerned staff togehter, where we will be at hand to answer any questions that might arise during the decission process.

    Implementation

The implementation of the countermeasures will take various forms depending on the countermeasure, and can require training of your affected staff on countermeasures we provide your staff with.

Once they are put in place there should be a period of three to six months, depending on project size and stress levels experienced, during wich the countermeasures are used without any other changes to the workplace. This in order for your staff to get used to the new pace of working.

During the implementation period PRO Services will be at hand to amend any issues that comes up with the countermeasures that are implemented so as to make sure they work smoothly and don’t cause more stress.

    Follow-up

After the implementation period, it is time to evaluate the effect of the countermeasures. What kind of follow-up that takes place depends on what initial evaluation that was done in your company.

If assessments of stress levels was done via a survey and/or interviews, follow-up surveys and iterviews are recommended. Such a survey will help evaluate the effectiveness of the countermeasures as well as compliance with any new work processes and operating procedures.

You will also have the possibility of us preforming a yearly follow-up of stress levels in your company in order to help keep them down.
